Sometimes, when trying to check out using PayPal, your bank account might not appear as a payment option—even if it’s linked to your account. We know this can be confusing!
⚠️ A Quick Note:
PayPal manages all bank account permissions on their end.
We’re unable to override their restrictions or approve alternative payment methods from our side.
We’re not PayPal experts and can’t troubleshoot individual PayPal account issues.
If you’re unable to pay with your bank account, we strongly encourage you to reach out to PayPal Support directly.
💡 Why is this happening?
There are a few possible reasons why your bank account may not appear:
- Your bank account isn’t fully linked or confirmed
- You haven’t added a backup payment method (credit/debit card)
- Your account recently had a declined transaction or was flagged by PayPal’s security system
- You may have reached your PayPal spending limit
- PayPal has restricted the use of bank accounts for certain transactions
🔧 What You Can Try
- Log in to your PayPal account and go to your Wallet
- Ensure your bank account is properly linked and verified
- Add a backup credit/debit card if prompted
- If PayPal still isn’t giving you the option to use your bank account—and you’re unable to update anything—reach out to their support team for help
