Inside the Biddy Tarot community, you may notice a few different AI tools available to support your learning and Tarot practice.
There are currently three types of AI tools you may come across.
1. The AI Tarot Card Interpreter
This tool helps you explore the meaning of Tarot cards and reflect on spreads you’ve already done. It is designed to support Tarot reflection and learning.
It can help you:
- Explore the meaning of cards in a spread
- Reflect on themes or symbolism that appear in a reading
- Ask follow-up questions about cards you’ve pulled
- Look at a spread from a different perspective
Think of it as a reflection tool that can help you explore your reading more deeply.
2. The AI Spread Creator
This tool helps you create Tarot spreads aligned with your question, intention, or area of focus.
It can help you:
- Design custom Tarot spreads
- Explore different spread layouts
- Refine the question you want to ask
- Create spreads for specific themes like relationships, career, shadow work, manifestation, or personal growth
The Spread Creator is designed to support intuitive, empowering Tarot practice in a grounded and reflective way.
3. Program or Course AI Assistants
Some programs, workshops, or events may include their own AI assistant. These tools are trained on the specific course material and can help you understand lessons, clarify concepts, and find information within the program.
The course-based AI assistants focus on the content inside that specific program. The Tarot Interpreter is designed for exploring cards and readings, while the Spread Creator helps you build spreads and refine questions before a reading begins.
All of these are optional tools you can use whenever they feel helpful.
A Note on Ethical Tarot Practice
At Biddy Tarot, we care deeply about reading Tarot ethically.
The AI interpreter is not meant to do a reading for you, and it isn’t intended to replace your intuition or interpretation.
Our approach to Tarot is centered on your own inner wisdom, insight, and connection with the cards.
Because of this, the AI is best used after you’ve done your own reading, as a way to explore additional perspectives or reflect on the cards you pulled.
The Spread Creator follows the same philosophy by helping you create reflective, empowering spreads rather than predictive readings.
Many readers use guidebooks, journals, or discussions with other readers to expand their understanding of a spread. The AI works in a similar way. It’s simply another tool that can help you think through what the cards might be showing you.
How the AI Works
Our AI tools understand language and conversation, but they do not search the internet or pull information from outside sources.
They are trained using Biddy Tarot materials and program content so they can respond to Tarot-related questions and discussions about the programs.
Because of this:
- They don’t access outside websites
- They don’t know current events
- They only respond based on the material they were trained on
The AI is also not a counselor, therapist, or professional advisor, and it cannot replace support from qualified professionals in areas like mental health, legal matters, or financial decisions.
Its role is simply to help you explore Tarot and learning material in a reflective way.
How to Get the Best Results
The AI works best when it has clear information to respond to.
Try speaking to it the way you would speak to another person who is helping you think something through.
Helpful things to include:
- The cards you pulled
- Whether they are upright or reversed
- The question or situation you were exploring
- What you’ve already noticed in the reading
You might ask things like:
- “I pulled these cards in a relationship spread. What themes might they be pointing to?”
- I’m stuck on this card in this position. What might I be missing?”
- “This is how I interpreted the spread. Does that make sense?”
Short or unclear messages can sometimes make it harder for the AI to understand what you’re asking. Giving a bit of context usually leads to much better responses.
For the Spread Creator, it can also help to include:
The area of life you want clarity around
Whether you want a simple or more in-depth spread
The type of reading or reflection you’re hoping to create
The more context you give, the more aligned and supportive the spread suggestions will feel.
When a Conversation Might Pause
Sometimes the AI may pause a conversation.
This can happen if the conversation moves into areas the AI tools aren’t designed to handle, such as real-world advice or decisions.
If that happens, the system alerts our team so we can review what occurred and make sure everything is working as it should.
In some cases we may step in to explain why the pause happened. In other situations, it helps us identify ways to improve how the AI responds in the future.
A Tool You Can Explore
There’s no single “right” way to use the AI tools.
Some members use them often to explore spreads and ideas. Others use them occasionally when they feel stuck. And some members prefer not to use them at all.
All of those approaches are completely valid.
You may even discover creative ways of using the AI that we haven’t thought of yet. Feel free to explore, experiment, and see what feels useful for your practice.
The AI tools are simply there as supportive resources you can use to deepen your understanding of Tarot, explore spreads, reflect on readings, and support your personal practice.
