If you’re having trouble watching a live stream in the Biddy Tarot Community — like the video won’t play, it keeps buffering, or you see an error message — you’re not alone.
This can happen for a few reasons:
- Your browser may not support certain video features
- A cached version of the page didn’t load correctly
- An outdated app version or extension might be interfering
- The device you’re using may not fully support Circle’s live video player
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get things working again.
1. Refresh the Page
- Reload the page (or pull down to refresh on mobile)
- Wait 5 to 10 seconds
The video often loads properly the second time
2. Tap “Update Available” (App Users Only)
- If you’re using the app, check the top of your screen
- If you see a banner that says “Update Available – Tap to refresh”, go ahead and tap it
This will force the app to sync with the latest version of the stream
3. Try a Different Browser
If you’re seeing an error like:
“Playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support”
Try one of the following instead:
- Safari
- Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
Chrome can be especially picky if extensions or outdated settings are interfering.
4. Disable Browser Extensions
Some extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy tools) can interfere with the video player.
Try disabling:
- uBlock Origin
- Ghostery
- DuckDuckGo Privacy
- Other ad/privacy blockers
Then refresh the stream page.
5. Clear Your Browser Cache
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
- Fully close the tab and reopen the event link
This resets the stream player and usually fixes partial load issues.
6. Reinstall the Circle App (Mobile)
If you’re watching from the app and it’s not working properly:
- Delete the Biddy Tarot app
- Reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play
- Log back in using your account details
7. Check Your Internet Connection
- Use Wi-Fi if possible
- Move closer to your router
- Avoid other heavy streaming or downloading on your network
Live streams need stable bandwidth to work smoothly.
8. Restart Your Device
Try restarting your phone, tablet, or computer. It clears memory and often fixes stubborn playback issues.
