How Do I Download and Play an Audio MP3 File or Meditation on my Apple or Android Device?

Listening to your meditation or audio file is easy, whether you’re using a desktop or mobile device. Follow these step-by-step instructions to download, save, and play your file on your Apple or Android device.

If You’re Opening the File on a Desktop (Mac or PC):

  1. Log Into Your Account:

  2. Download the File:

    • Click the download button next to the audio file or meditation you want.
    • The file will save to your computer’s default download location (usually the Downloads folder).

  3. Transfer the File to Your Device:

    • For Apple Devices: Use AirDrop (Mac only) or sync the file via iCloud Drive or iTunes. Alternatively, email the file to yourself and open it on your iPhone/iPad.
    • For Android Devices: Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable and copy the file to your device. You can also email the file to yourself and download it directly from the email.

  4. Play the File on Your Device:

    • Open the file on your phone using a file manager, music player, or app like Google Drive or iCloud Files.

If You’re Downloading Directly to Your Apple Device (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Log Into Your Account:

  2. Download the File:

    • Locate the audio file or meditation and tap the download button.
    • Depending on your device, the file may automatically open or ask where to save it.

  3. Save the File:

    • Tap the Share button (a square with an upward arrow) and choose where to save the file:
      • Select ‘Save to Files’ to store it in iCloud or your device’s storage.
      • If prompted, you can also save it directly to the Music or Voice Memos app.

  4. Play the File:

    • Open the app where you saved the file (e.g., Files, Music, Voice Memos).
    • Tap the file to begin listening.

If You’re Downloading Directly to Your Android Device:

  1. Log Into Your Account:

    • Locate the audio file or meditation and tap the download button.
    • The file will save to your Downloads folder by default.

  3. Move the File (Optional):

    • Use a file manager app to move the file to a folder of your choice, such as Music or Podcasts.

  4. Play the File:

    • Open the file using a music or podcast app, or from your device’s Files app.
    • Tap the file to play it anytime, even offline.

  • If you can’t locate your file, check your device’s Downloads folder.
  • Ensure you have enough storage space on your device before downloading.
  • For offline access, confirm the file is fully downloaded to your device.
  • If you're still having trouble, try uploading the MP3 file to a file-sharing app like Dropbox or Google Drive from your computer. Then, open the Dropbox or Google Drive app on your device, find the file, and download it directly to your device.
