Here’s how to navigate accepting, scheduling, completing, and submitting readings.
Setting Your Availability & Accepting Reading Requests
As a Practice Tarot Reader, you have two flexible ways to manage when and how you accept readings: by setting your schedule in advance or accepting readings instantly.
Option 1: Schedule Readings in Advance

Set Your Preferences:
- Go to the Availability section on your dashboard.
- Decide how many readings you can handle each day and set your daily limit.
- Be realistic about your time to ensure you can complete readings comfortably within the 7-day deadline.
- Select your time zone to align reading assignments with your availability.

Turn On Availability:
- Toggle Accepting Readings? to Yes when you're ready to receive requests.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

Taking a Break:
- Toggle Accepting Readings? to No if you need to pause incoming requests for any reason. Don’t forget to click Save to update your status.
Option 2: Accept Readings Instantly
If you prefer to pick up requests as they come, you can manually accept a reading at any time:
- Go to the Practice Readings section.
- Click Accept a Reading to view available requests.
- Select a request that resonates with you and click Accept.
This approach is perfect for readers who prefer spontaneity or aren’t sure how much time they’ll have to commit in advance.
Responding to Reading Requests

Check New Requests:
- Navigate to the “Practice Readings” section.
- Under “New Requests,” find details such as the request date, due date, client name, and status.

Open the Request:
- Click on the reading number or status to view the client’s request and questionnaire responses.

Communicate With Your Client:
- Send an introductory message to acknowledge the request. Introduce yourself and explain your reading style. For example:
Hi [Client's Name], I’ve received your request and look forward to working with you! My reading style focuses on empowering insights. If it’s okay with you, I’d like to rephrase your question slightly to explore deeper guidance. Let me know your thoughts!
- Customize the message to reflect your personality and approach.

Completing and Submitting a Reading

Prepare Your Reading:
- Draft the reading in a separate document (e.g., Word or Google Docs) to save progress and avoid losing work.
- If providing a written reading, copy and paste it into the platform’s text box. Use "Paste Without Formatting" to avoid errors:

Attach Files or Media (Optional):
- Upload documents, images, or video/audio recordings using the paperclip or camera icons. Ensure linked files (e.g., YouTube or Dropbox) are private and accessible for at least 60 days.

- Click Submit Tarot Reading once the reading is complete. The request will move to your "Completed Readings" folder.

Encourage Feedback:
- Add a note at the end of your reading, kindly asking the client to provide feedback. Feedback helps you grow as a reader and fulfills the client’s agreement to participate.
Managing Feedback

Receiving Feedback:
- Clients will be notified via email to leave feedback after receiving their reading.
- Feedback includes a star rating and optional comments. This feedback is private and visible only to you.

Following Up:
- If feedback isn’t provided, send a gentle reminder message through the platform. Remember, clients must leave feedback before requesting another reading.

- Timely Responses: Aim to respond promptly to client messages to build trust and maintain a positive experience.
- Boundaries: If a request doesn’t align with your ethics or comfort level, kindly communicate this with the client and suggest rephrasing the question.
- Quality Over Quantity: Focus on delivering thoughtful, empowering readings rather than rushing through requests.
